The Main Thing:

This week we’re sitting down with Kelly Mahler to talk all things interoception. Do you know what that is? We had a more general idea and this has quickly become one of the topics we wanted to highlight with a deeper dive! There’s a lot to understand, acknowledge and embrace when it comes to interoception, so while we’re highlighting it for Episode 067, we’re not able to unpack every aspect in our time together — so stay tuned because we’ll keep digging into this topic in future episodes!

Kelly is an Occupational Therapist with a heart for equipping caretakers to validate and uncover the uniqueness of an interoception experience. She has developed an award-winning curriculum and a steadfast community of those committed to the research and application of interoception, and she continues to take a closer look at these concepts as related to those who have experienced trauma. Her work is fascinating, reassuring, and thought-provoking! There’s so much to take away from our conversation with Kelly – we know you’re going to love her just as much as we do!
